About our One-Day ID Camps

These One-Day Prospect Camps are a fantastic opportunity for prospects to train with our players at Hope College in a high-level, competitive environment while showcasing their skills which will be evaluated by the Hope coaching staff. Prospects will get to know our staff and learn what it takes to play at the next level. Numerous players on the current roster were identified and recruited at prospect camp.

Men's Hope Soccer Camps

Goalkeeper Training

Our Hope College goalkeeper program is also available for camp. Goalkeepers will train separately from field players throughout the week, but take part in small sided as well as full sided play. The program is designed to challenge and develop individual skill throughout each training session and tactical knowledge during the games.

David Blahnik

Coaching Staff

David Blahnik, former head coach at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois was announced as the new head coach of the Hope College men’s soccer team on May 3, 2022. Blahnik guided Olivet Nazarene to a .707 winning percentage over six seasons from 2012 through 2017. Blahnik served as an assistant men’s soccer coach at Hope in 2019, helping the Flying Dutchmen return to the NCAA Division III Tournament and finishing with a 14-6-1 overall record. At Olivet Nazarene, Blahnik coached his alma mater to five NAIA National Tournament appearances and an 83-31-13 overall record. Olivet Nazarene earned an NAIA Top 25 ranking five times during Blahnik’s tenure.

Hope College Van Andel Soccer Stadium

Location

The setting for the Hope Men’s Prospect Camp is the campus of the Hope College, located in Holland, Michigan. Sessions will utilize the 1200 seat, lighted, turfed, soccer specific Van Andel Soccer Stadium.  All campers will reside in one of the residence halls normally occupied by undergraduate students of the College. Meals will be served in one of the Dining Halls on campus.
